The updated included enhancements to the AI engine, you will need to rebootstrap your bot from the Scripts page to get the AI engine update.

This issue should be fixed now. Just ensure you set your language to "de" in your bot's Voice page under Admin.

Thanks for reporting the issue. It looks like we are not currently setting the language in the speech recognizer, so it defaults to English or the browser/OS default language.

Its probably a very simple question but I cant seem to find a way to do this. In my chatbot I enabled the speech recognition function - which works fine, as long as it is in English. For my project I want to train refugees to speak German, so I need to have the speech recognition in German. Do I have to do this in Chrome (I tried without success) or do I do it somewhere on BotLibre or in the code I pasted onto my wordpress page?

Is there a way to speed up how much smarter a bot gets?

The only way currently is to download each script, then check it into GitHub.

We could probably add a multi-file download that downloads a set of scripts to a zip file. Then you would just need to unzip the files and check them in.

I should have been a bit more specific. I'd like to start a GH project for my Self scripts, to open it up for collaboration. I could manually import, but as there are several scripts, this might get repetitive.

I'm going to start a project soon, I just thought I would start a topic if this would be doable.

Looks like you imported the AIML as a chat log. You can either import AIML as a chat log, from the Chat Logs page, or as a script, from the Scripts page.

Bot Libre has multiple ways to resolve responses. It will first look for a direct response match, then process its program scripts, they search for the closest matching know response.

The content of the AIML files appears on the page, but it is not added to the list of scripts.

You can cycle through your text now using a Self script. Basically you need to load and associate the text, then create a script that will cycle between the text phrases.

Ive connected my Bot to my IRC Server and Channel but it does not show up. I would also like to know how to tweet from the IRC Channel through the bot.

Wikidata

Initial support for importing data from Wikidata. Wikidata is a free knowledge base, part of the Wikimedia/Wikipedia project. The support mirrors our current Freebase support, in anticipation of Google shutting down Freebase.

This issue should be fixed now.

That is odd. Seems to be a spacing issue with our AIML2 update and formula responses.
I will look into it.

Our server was attacked today by a spam bot sending user messages (yes very ironic).
The user and their ip have been blocked, and the spam messages deleted. Sorry if you were sent email from the messages.

The bot is removing the spaces between words when I send answer corrections.  Help?

I tested your bot Serenity, and its seems its scripts have been corrupted somehow.
Part of the state machine for the bootstrap scripts was forgotten or deleted, which was causing an error in its script processing.

I don't think I'm programming my bot right. None of the imported scripts are working. Is there something I need to do to them first?

No, if you delete something from the Knowledge page it will be permanently deleted. If you remove a script from the Script page it will only be unpinned, and will be delete durring garbage collection/forgetfulness when the memory is full.

So I can delete them from the memory and they'll still be there?

Scripts are automatically pinned when imported. As well as trained responses, corrections, and responses from the Chat Logs page.

Pinning them so the bot will remember. Do I need to pin the stuff from the scripts?

You can click on the checkbox button in the Knowledge page to select all the items. Well, it will select the first 100 items (HTTP has a form parameter limit). There is no current way to select more than that right now, we will look into adding one.
