 star is not working with sets.

here is the textfile.work set.txt

I tested your script, and it works fine. I assume you have another script interfering with it.

Views: 1592, today: 0, week: 1, month: 3

it was working but then it stopped working all of a sudden.

I do not know what script could have prevent it from working.

I need more information than that.
